At the end of the '70s, Alberto Portolano took over the business and founded the ALPO company with HQ and showroom based in Milan and production based in Inverigo (Como, Italy). The entrepreneurial tradition has continued, the machineries were updated and the production was pushed towards higher quality standards. Nowadays, ALPO receives relevant inspiration from partnerships with the most important Italian and foreign fashion designers to make gloves unique and necessary accessories to complete the fashion collections.
Our factory is based in Inverigo, Como, where we seek the highest quality of our products: everything starts with the finest research of the best materials combined with our expertise and the result is a product handmade by our seamstresses. Careful attention to details, enhancement of the prestige of Italian craftsmanship, love and dedication to our work are the core values that passed down through generations and still accompany us everyday.
