The term “Calatura” comes from the technique by which the knitting machine needles are lowered: in this way the points where the garment needs to be curved (such as the neckline or armhole) come out of the machine ready to be packaged and assembled. This process means that the finished garment has an aesthetically more refined and more harmonious appearance, and there is also a significant reduction in any packaging waste.
